4. Customize your creations

Choose to create your model from one of 16 different clolored plastics, sold in easy to attach Cubify cartridges. With each cartridge providing enough plastic to create between 13 to 15 phone-case-sized models, you’ll be able to produce a wide range of creations before requiring a replacement. Additionally, a choice between strong and recyclable ABS plastic, or the bio-degradable and compostable PLA plastic means you can make sure your deisng is printed out in exactly the way you want it, without worrying about building up unwanted waste. Printing time is dictated by the complexity of the model you’re creating, with an average smartphone case taking around 2 hours to build.

5. Included Accessories

The number of included accessories makes-or-breaks the convenience factor of a 3D printer. Many of the best 3D printers include USB cables, power supplies, maintenance tools for taking care of your machine and for cleaning up prints, starter filament cartridges and more.Also, be sure to choose a 3D printer with corresponding software congruent with your level of expertise. Many 3D printer companies recommend open-source software such as Repetier or professional-grade CAD programs, or have free downloads available for you on their websites. 6. Connectivity
