Last Message is a communication application that automatically sends messages, via text message, social network messages and email, to select people when your mobile device’s battery reaches a certain percentage.

It was was developed by Fat Brain, which is a group that focuses on development of technology. The application was released on February 19, 2013, and only takes up 1.5M space on your phone for it to work. It requires at least Android 2.2 to run on as well. In addition, this is a free application for Android as well.

Advantages of using this application is that there is an Immediate notification for its status. It is also a worry free or maintenance free application and is simple to install. There are also a lot of potential safety benefits in using this application as well. Moreover, it guarantees a last say especially in emergency situations which are inevitable and unavoidable. Lastly, Last Message is also a customizable app which allows a user to personalize their application according to their suited preferences. Examples of these settings are its start and stop time, the days option and which accounts to use as well. 

This application also allows users to understand and learn more about the battery consumption of their gadgets which is an advantage in knowing how to conserve and prolong battery life.
